The POINT BEING.... yes you should tank your barge but should it be a good organised group out to get you and they dont care about profit then it will not matter how you are tanked they will STILL kill you because you are only tanked not invulnerable.
Firstly, most of the people you are attempting to argue with are likely older than you(I'm old as hell). And if not, then you have my sincere pity, because your apparent thought processes evidence a decided lack of mental and intellectual maturity.
Secondly, I don't even know what your point is supposed to be. If someone really wants you dead and brings lots of people, then you will probably die? Yeah, no kidding.
But the fact of the matter is that tanking your ship improves your survivability well beyond the mathematical advantages. When I am out hunting, I take out the soft targets. I scan people. I gank the ones who don't fit a tank. Fitting a tank gives you a much, much higher chance of surviving when I am in the area, simply by being a (comparatively) hard target.
The game isn't just the stats. Play the meta, it works.

I didn't say 5. I said "every miner I have ever killed". That number is considerably more than 5 in my case.
Thanks! I've always been proud of my stalking and hunting skills. Sneaking into the system under the guns of Concord, stalking my (un)wary prey, and waiting til the precise moment to pounce!
Also, I don't consider it leet to kill miners. I do consider it fun however.
Or was it your intent to suggest that they should be immune to my attacks because they have made the conscious choice not to defend themselves?

Did you mean grade school or actually grad school? Granted, the petty and vindictive aspects come out in both, but in grad school it's mostly in the form of embittered teachers fishing for tenure (or "favors" from female students).
Ok, how about we apply this some.
"All miners don't tank". Fair enough, some of them do. But, "all miners who don't tank are carebears" is a perfectly fair assertion.
Alrighty, whether you fit a tank or not, if someone is determined to kill specifically you, they will do it. 2+ people > 1 person.
Is there a problem there? Are you suggesting this should not be the case? Or perhaps that it's a good excuse for not fitting a tank? What are you actually trying to say?

Yes the point, you missed it completely. We know the number was exaggerated to make a point, we're just unsure of what the point was, and whether or not you actually had one in the first place. The Goon (GrrGäó) is right, you're a terrible poster, even by their standards.
